Annual Fundraiser Brunch
& Silent Auction
Once a year, we invite donors to join us for brunch to meet some of our staff, learn more about the work we do and the impact that donors make, and discuss future projects to continue serving Santa Cruz County.

Turkey Drive
During October and November, donors make it possible for survivors and families participating on our programs to sign up to receive a full Thanksgiving meal put together by our local New Leaf Markets which they can take home to their household: mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, stuffing, a pie - and, of course, a big turkey.
Adopt-a-Family
The stress of the holiday season can be a lot even for folks who aren’t also participating in our programs. Adopt-a-Family allows donors to purchase gifts for our participants whose families do gift-giving during this time of year: a wish list of toys, clothes, and household necessities is provided.

The Friends of Walnut Avenue
The Friends of Walnut Avenue is a group of volunteers who make the magic happen! They’re an integral part of our fundraising efforts, and they also support Walnut Avenue’s annual campaigns such as Adopt-a-Family and Turkey Drive.
