How are we doing?

Walnut Avenue values the feedback from its program participants, partnering organizations, and individual community members so that it can gauge the effectiveness of its services and stay up to date on changing needs.

Grievance & Discrimination

If you experienced discrimination by a staff person or volunteer, Walnut Avenue welcomes your feedback. We do our best to ensure that every staff person and volunteer is appropriately trained for their position and aware of the values that our organization upholds, but we know that this doesn’t always prevent transgressions from individuals occurring and we take these incidents very seriously.

  • A grievance claim can be filed in person at our main office on 303 Walnut Avenue. You can view a PDF of our grievance policy here to see what that entails and your legal protections during a grievance process.

  • You can contact our director of operations, who manages risk and grievance, at info@wafwc.org for more discussion over the options available to you.
