Space for Change

An alternative option for addressing the harm caused by domestic violence.

Based on principles of transformative justice, Space for Change is a collaborative program between Walnut Avenue and the Conflict Resolution Center of Santa Cruz County that aims to provide a consent-based option for people who have caused harm to receive support in making safer, healthier choices in their relationship for long-term well-being.

Participation is free, voluntary, and does not require participation in the legal system.

Accessing Education: A Resource for Everyone

Walnut Avenue’s advocates and teachers offer learning opportunities for all community members of all ages, genders, sexualities, and other personal identities on a variety of subjects related to healthy and unhealthy relationships across the lifespan and for different demographics.
