Let The Caged Bird Sing lll

Join Walnut Avenue and Musical Soulmates at this concert event in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the survivors in our community. Our third Annual Let the Caged Bird Sing  takes place on Sunday, October 12th at Kuumbwa Jazz (320-2 Cedar Street, Santa Cruz).

Musical Soulmates and Walnut Avenue Family and Women's Center are thrilled to announce that we are co-producing this beloved event. This is a bold new step! We are excited to walk hand in hand into our purpose-filled, collective healing.

We look forward to welcoming you to a vibrant, gorgeous, and healing  evening of Neo-Soul with the Musical Soulmates Performers Collaborative. The evening of music is curated and designed to bring joy and energy to the room while holding space for and bearing witness to survivors, acknowledging the connection between colonialism and racism to domestic violence, empowering survivors, and bringing healing and transcendence to all.

Live music, silent auction, candle light vigil and a lot of connecting in our community!
