Certification Training to become a Volunteer Advocate!
Volunteer Advocate Training Information Night:
You can become a Volunteer advocate to support at risk-teens and/or adult survivors of domestic violence.
Training prepares you for the following roles;
· Teen Group Co-facilitator: Help facilitate weekly teen support groups.
· Peer Counselor: Provide peer counseling on our 24 hr. domestic violence (dv) hotline.
· Legal Advocacy : Attend court with participants who are survivors of dv.
· Intake Advocacy: Support participants in our front office.
Some volunteer roles you can do from home once trained!
Many colleges will give you school credit for your internship hours with us!
