Winterpalooza at the MAH!

Walnut Avenue Services for Children & Youth Department will host an art activity table at the event.

Other exhibits at the event include the following;

TOY TRAINS | Experience a mini-universe of model trains that delight the young and young at heart. Come and watch a massive standard gauge steam engine from the 1920s start up with the headlight flashing anddrive wheels spinning. Marvel atsmoke flowing from the smoke stack, and a mighty whistle. There will also be weekly raffles of beautiful toy trains, at the close of every Sunday. Members of the Over the Hill Gang will be on hand to help young engineers’ master controls and to answer questions.

Enjoy traditional and secular carols by the multi-generational choir Hark, the Family of Carolers Singfrom the Santa Cruz Performing Arts (SCPA).

Hands-on Workshops & Demonstrations

Be a part of a community sing-a-long, enjoy a “cup” demonstration, and learn a famous melody on the piano as part of Music Makes the World Go Round with Little Mozarts 4 FUN.

Help create a community labyrinth. Draw, color or write personal messages of love on wintery cutouts to collectively display along the meditative path offered by Santa Cruz community members.

Cost: $5 General, $3 Students, Seniors and Kids, FREE for MAH Members and Children under 4
